I'm a lifelong model railway enthusiast living in Toronto, Canada.
In September of 2003, I demolished my last HO scale layout and I started building this On2 (O scale, two-foot gauge) layout, inspired by the Monson Railway in Maine. Welcome to this gallery, which documents my progress.
Thanks for stopping by!

 | 1st Jan 2009 | SPCRR version 2.0
The railroad undergoes an overhaul for the new year. I have more space, and am taking advantage of it to broaden the curves and model some new scenes.

 | 3rd Jun 2006 | Trial by firing
In 2006, I decided I needed to learn about the Maine two-footers firsthand, so I visited the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum (www.mngrr.org) in Portland. I started by taking their one-day "guest engineer" program in June, and followed up by apprenticing as a fireman over a three-day weekend during Santa Fest in December. Here are a few photos - I'll add more as I get to Maine and learn more about the railroads I'm attempting to model.
